Luke's 1st Birthday shoot

Luke's newborn shoot was the first one I did last year in January and I was lucky to be able to take photos of him every 3 months. It was a really neat experience to see him grow and change.

He is such a sweet and happy baby! LOVE his chunky leg rolls ;) The treasure chest that he is sitting in was a very random prop that just happened to be in the room with the best light that morning and I love what it added to these photos. Happy 1st Birthday, Luke!

Sweet Baby Lyla, 3 months old already

I can't believe it has been 3 months already since Lyla's newborn shoot and since I started this blog (her pictures were in my first post). New year comes with new resolutions and mine should be - to post more of my work here. Since I did so many shoots in Fall, I got overwhelmed at the time and did not post most of those here. I guess there is nothing wrong with some nice colorful Fall photos posted in Winter, will have to work on that next ;)

Back to Lyla - she is such a sweet baby, she melts my heart and has such a cute personality already. Since she is a baby of a close friend of mine, I think I am allowed to say that I love her and can't wait to capture her first year and long after that too ;)

Valentine's Day cards from last year

I am setting up Valentine's day themed mini photo shoots right now. Here are the cards I made last year.

 First one was for both of my girls commom friends and the following two I modified little to have personalized for each of them.

This one was for Izzy's preschool friends.

This one was for Amanda's playgroup friends.

I took these photos while visiting very good friend of mine in California and surprised her with this card from her boys.

Baby Adam, 12 days old, best start to the new year ;)

I could not have asked for better start to my new year. Friend of mine gave this shoot as baby gift to her friend and I was happy to help out ;) Capturing this sweet baby boy reminded me why I LOVE Newborn photo shoots so much. Newborns are so precious and innocent and there is just something so special about how BRAND NEW they are to this world with so much to discover and learn.

Holiday photos taken at the Merrifield Garden center

With another very busy month full with photoshoots behind me, Holidays are almost here.
Last Sunday I did mini shoot at the Merrifield Garden center for this beautiful family. I did get few weird looks from some of the workers there but other wise it was pretty uneventful. Aiden loved to pose and we got lots of beautiful photos to be used for Christmas cards and presents.
